Welcome to the
St Andrew’s Society of the Netherlands
Welcome! We are a friendly group of people who like Scotland, especially Scottish Country Dancing. We are based in and around Den Haag.
Join us for dancing classes most Friday nights from September to May. Our classes are open to all skill levels, and no partner is needed. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced dancer, our focus is on having fun and enjoying the dance.
In addition to our weekly classes, we also arrange 5 exciting events throughout the year, including Ceilidhs, Burns Supper and St Andrews Ball. These events are open to both members and non-members, and tickets usually sell out fast. Check out our events pages for more information.
Our popular Reel Club dancing classes now take place at the Christelijk Lyceum Zandvliet, in the heart of The Hague. This central location is conveniently located at Bezuidenhoutseweg 40, within walking distance of Den Haag Centraal Station. Click here to find us on Google Maps.
As we prioritise the safety of our members, we may require self-testing prior to dancing depending on the prevailing Covid situation in the Netherlands. We will keep you updated on any necessary measures closer to the date.
Come and join our welcoming community of Scottish dance lovers! Discover the fun, social and cultural richness of Scottish Country Dancing in the Netherlands. We look forward to dancing with you! We invite friends and potential new members again to come along. There will be a short refreshment break to relax and chat. If you would like to join us, please use our contact form to get in touch with Marion to exchange your and our contact details.
